Sworn Law Enforcement
Students who passed the Florida Criminal Justice Law Enforcement state certification exam since 1993 will receive articulated credits for the following eight courses equivalent to 24 credits.
- CCJ 1001 Introduction to Criminology – 3
- CCJ 1020 Introduction to Criminal Justice – 3
- CJL 2130 Criminal Evidence and Procedures – 3
- CJE 1130 Fundamentals of Criminal Investigation – 3
- CJL 1100 Criminal Law – 3
- CJL 1062 Constitutional Law – 3
- CCJ 1500 Juvenile Justice – 3
- ENC 2210 Technical Writing – 3
Total 24
Students who passed the Florida Criminal Justice Law Enforcement state certification exam between 1988 and December 31, 1992, the student will receive articulated credits for the following six courses equivalent to 18 credits:
- CCJ 1001 Introduction to Criminology – 3
- CCJ 1020 Introduction to Criminal Justice – 3
- CJL 2130 Criminal Evidence and Procedures – 3
- CJE 1130 Fundamentals of Criminal Investigation – 3
- CJL 1100 Criminal Law – 3
- ENC 2210 Technical Writing – 3
Total 18
Students who passed the Florida Criminal Justice Law Enforcement state certification exam between 1974 and December 31, 1987, the student will receive articulated credits for the following four courses equivalent to 12 credits:
- CCJ 1001 Introduction to Criminology – 3
- CCJ 1020 Introduction to Criminal Justice – 3
- CJL 2130 Criminal Evidence and Procedures – 3
- ENC 2210 Technical Writing – 3
Total 12
Students who passed the Florida Criminal Justice Correctional state certification exam and then passed the Florida Criminal Justice Law Enforcement state exam (dual certified) will receive articulated credit for the Law Enforcement state exam based on the year they successfully passed the Law Enforcement state exam. In addition, dual-certified students will also receive articulated credit for the following course:
- CJC 1000 Introduction to Corrections – 3
