Polk State Course Tests

Instructors may arrange testing in the TLCCs for students needing to make-up a test, those with documented testing accommodations, and in other special circumstances (e.g. technology limitations, recurring remote testing issues).

Once the TLCC receives a test from the assigning instructor, all applicable students will receive an email with details about scheduling an appointment. All course-related testing is done by appointment, which must be scheduled at least one day in advance.

Each test taker must present photo identification which includes a recognizable photo and the tester’s pre-printed name. The name on the ID must match the name indicated by the instructor. Copies or photos of identification are not accepted. Individuals will not be tested without valid photo identification.

To ensure the integrity and quality of the testing environment, cell phones, and other electronic devices are not permitted in the testing area. Testers will be required to store all personal belongings in a secure locker during all testing appointments.

The TLCCs utilize audio and video surveillance in all testing areas.
